Rajiv Sarin

Rajiv Sarin is the Head of Alfa Laval OceanGlide, a unique air lubrication system that minimizes friction between the hull and the water by producing an even air layer across the flat bottom of the vessel. An air lubrication system saving fuel and, in turn, reducing CO2 emissions. With his vast experience, impressive network and in-depth knowledge of the marine industry, Rajiv is an important driver for this new technology and Alfa Laval’s step towards sustainable shipping. Rajiv has been in the marine industry for over 26 years, starting as a marine engineer and in the last 19 years holding various senior leadership roles and most recently serving as Vice President for Alfa Laval South East Asia, before relocating to the Netherlands to take on this global role.
