TMS Tanker Conference set to address the issues that matter
The fourth annual The Maritime Standard Tanker Conference will take place on Tuesday 22nd October at the Atlantis hotel, the Palm Jumeirah, Dubai. The event aims to build on the success of the first three events, which have helped raise the profile of the tanker shipping business, by providing a high-level forum at which to discuss the key issues that this sector of the shipping industry faces.
The 2019 event, which adds some new topics, including petrochemicals trading and bunker operations, will aim to raise the bar higher still. The Conference programme is rapidly taking shape and a number of top-level speakers have already confirmed their attendance.
The three sessions of the conference will assess how tanker operators can adapt to fast moving and volatile market conditions; the need to adapt support infrastructure and services to deliver market success; and how to overcome technical, legal and regulatory challenges to tanker trade development. Clive Woodbridge, conference editor, says, “We are excited about the quality of the keynote and session speakers that we will be announcing in the next few weeks and we are working hard to build a programme that will address all the key issues that matter. With all the region’s leading tanker owners and operators in the room, the Tanker Conference is an unrivalled opportunity to learn, to debate and to network.”
